[He gives him one last hug-squeeze before setting him back down. It really is the biggest relief (at least until he knows he can go back and change his future, but pipe dreams). But the relief and hope in his voice is so painfully obvious, mixed in with exhaustion.]

So at the very least, I know we have this one and I can make some duplicates in case anything happens. Oh man, this-- This is great.

[ And Hiro was tired, but now he's just euphoric. He'll crash later. ]

[Guess who gets the most straight forward, unhesitating hair ruffle? This lil broooo. He gets the feeling they'll both crash later. He's also realizing the faintest inkling of a headache he's had for the last two days is gone now with the absence of his techpathy.]

I never did make them the other week, so we're overdue.

[ Much better. He's not even going to make a face this time, he's so pleased not to see his brother flinch any more. ]

Good. I even bought Girl Scout cookies to put in this batch.

Oh my god it'll be disgusting this time. What kind did you get?

[ Having disposable income is new and exciting okay. Sometimes he just wants to buy everything his younger self couldn't. ]

Six hours from now, you'll try to eat some chips and it'll just be thin mint gummy worm maple pancakes still.

[Gross can one even try to envision gummy thin mint hot wings? We think not.]
