Well, then. What usually relaxes you? I suppose you could just stay up until you crash, but that wouldn't be good for you. [ Humans are so fragile sometimes. And with Hiro already stressed out enough as is, it probably wouldn't be very restful. ] But surely you have some way of winding down.

You have a lot of projects you want to work on, don't you? Things you haven't yet built. Maybe running through the schematics and working out how everything will fit together will ease your nerves a little. [ No doubt Hiro has exhausted what's available to him in here, so they might as well try a little mental exercise. ]

It's a mental exercise. Your technology-related powers use the same principle, don't they? Except now, you're not moving any objects.

At the very least, it will keep you occupied.

You could probably apply some of that brainpower to designing battlechips, if you've got nothing else to do. [ He did catch a bit of that conversation. ] I still retain all my combat data, at least. Has Megaman shown you how netbattling works yet?

Not at all? Well, I suppose it's been a busy few months. [ Little things like 'discussing things inherent to the world' get pushed aside when there's stuff like plagues and dragons and explosions. He allows himself a small flare of satisfaction when he sees Hiro's expression change. ]

Well, let's see. Netnavis have their own abilities that don't need battlechips, first off. What those are depend on what's been programmed in, but usually they only have one or two. [ He summons his sword again; his left arm actually disassembles somewhat, rebuilding the data into a preset template. He raises it to let Hiro get a better look, turning it this way and that; it's a flat, wide blade, like a broadsword. ] Megaman has his plasma cannon - you saw that before. I have a sword and a long-range projectile ability, a null-element fireball.

..I won't do that in here. I may break something.

I'll give it a test run if you can give me a firewall to test it on. I haven't had to do that in a while. [ Magicman, don't encourage him. ]

There's also this, but it's nothing you haven't seen before. [ A summoning circle flashes into life on the ground, spinning gently before a mettaur materialises out of it. The circle disappears; the mettaur hops to his feet and immediately starts headbutting at them. He picks it up, and that seems to make it content. ] As for battlechips...there's support chips, attack chips, and ones that can only be used outside of combat. They're separated by elements, usually, and there are chips that can counter each element.

We use them for virus busting too, but well-timed attacks in a combat arena can mean all the difference between victory and defeat.

I'm not giving you too much information at once, am I?
[ He sounds mildly concerned. He's talking a lot right now! ]
